Help with disabled deer hunt in Northern Utah

My brother is confined to a wheel chair and has a northern tag. He has a disease called distonia that takes away his ability to walk and control his muscles. We put him in for other units that have more roads to hunt off of, but he didn't draw anything. This is one of the few things he looks forward to every year.
With everything from Weber canyon northwest being a 3 day hunt this year, it has really limited where we can get him in a truck. Does anyone have any ideas of where to go in the Kamas, Park City, Morgan area? He gets to hunt 5 days before the general rifle hunt starts, except in the Cache, Weber and Crawford units. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have some family and friends in No. Utah I will talk to them this weekend, see what I can do. What is your bro's expectations for a buck??

He isn't too concerned about killing a huge buck he just wants to get out and feel like he is one of the guys. He spends 99% of his time on his bed watching sports center all day long. He has it pretty rough, so I try to get him out for a day or two each fall. He would love to shoot a decent 4 point, but he is more concerned with just having something to look forward to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I live in Idaho, so am probably not much help with what you requested.

HOWEVER, I've got a boat and 2 handicapped (different issue) brothers who LOVE to fish. If you want to bring him up here, with a day (or two day or whatever) license, I could almost guarantee some big (3 to 6 pound) trout.

Within the shadows, go quietly.

up on monte cristo the rich and weber line runs down wahsatch ridge and the rich cach line runs down curtis creek. so if you go down curtis creek down to old or new canyon you should find a decent buck and you wuold be legal you just have to shot one on the east side of curtus creek road. I always see bucks in old and new canyon so good luck

wasatch ridge

We tried up on wasatch a few years ago. we didnt see any deer. I'm thinking that they get so much pressure from the elk hunt from the previous weeks that most of those deer are a long ways from the roads. He is bound to a wheelchair so we have to stay on the roads.

If you PM me i will take you. we have some land that i'd get you on. its easy in and out, but nobody hunts it for obvious reasons. PM me and we'll talk.

Sounds like he qualifies for the disabled extension, so he should be able to get extended time to hunt either before or after the season. I'd check on it. Best of luck.
