MT 652 Deer bow hunt

I'm going for my first bow hunt out west. I have hunt rifle hunted out west and bow/rifle back home (Minn).
Does anyone have any tips for this area. MT Fish/Wildlife is not much help with hunter results. I did not have time to plan this hunt but I see they have OTC tags in this area. Part of my hunt would be pre-scouting for next year where I have the time to put in for a draw tag.

Any and all help will be much appreciated!

652 is a draw unit. You have to have a general deer licence that you also have to put in for then after that you have to put in for 652. Over the counter tags for non-residents for bucks don't exsist. Hope this helps.

Sorry I misread your post.....good luck next year if you draw. Most guys that I know wait till the rut starts in this area because of the few amount of tags given and low hunting presure.
