Ryan Hatch says that after Alan Hamberlin hammers that big Strip buck that scored 300+. Do u think he's seen bigger on the hoof? Doesn't seem possible. But then wouldn't he say, "Biggest Buck I've ever seen"? Haha Just bored at work. Someone should ask him.

I will ask him when I am down there if I see him. I always send him pictures of my deer as soon as they are in the freezer. My 2005 buck was in the MuleyCrazy January/February edition page 56, and I won the Realtree Camo part of his photo contest last year.

He is really good to answer emails.

Why don't you just call him and ask him.

I met Ryan a little over three years ago. My family and I were down there shed hunting and stopped at his shop. We sat and visited with him for probably over two hrs that day. He is a real nice guy, and has alot of knowledge about mule deer. He was very genuine and didn't hold himself above anybody. I have met other people in the hunting world that have magazines and some are real jerks, not Ryan. If you had a bad encounter with him that sucks. He was very nice when we met him. If you have any questions give him a call I am sure he would answer them.

Homer....you throw stones & then show some kind of NM quote? Sounds like your sight and feel are messed up. Why dude, you must be perfect. Nobody is trying to hide anything, especially Ryan. The actions of our past create the man we are today......Ryan is a stand up guy.

When you throw jabs at someone (totally irrevelant to the question by AZ), yup you may ruffle someone's feathers....not mine, but I will take the time to respond to your comment.

Let's go to AZ's question.......I bet Hatch and the MC'ers have seen other bucks that big and probably bigger. They're just not the type to blow smoke and blab it until its on the ground, and even then they show class and respect for the deer. Heck, most of us can only dream of seeing what their eyes (uh Mule Deer wise)have seen.

I saw this post and thought it was hilarious because I asked him that EXACT question. He told me that Houdini was the biggest buck he's ever seen.
And about the things that have been said about Ryan, I have nothing but good things to say about him. He is a great guy.

He spends hours a day, every day, talking to ordinary hunters like me. You;ll nevre hear my say a cross word about him, I wish I new 100 more men like him. Bravo Zulu Ryan.
