I am new to monstermuleys and I just want to share to all of you my ecperience of the new T3 from G5......

Opening day I decided to sit in my treestand, after talking too my friends around camp and showing them my pre-season pics we all decided that it would be wrong of me to not sit in the stand, because everyday that I had my camera set elk would come in to the water whole. We all thought it would be a done deal for elk opening day but we were all wrong! arond 7:20 on the first day I had this nice buck come in off the top of a hill heading staight to my stand, the deer gave me no choice but to give him the red carpet treatment.... SMACK! I hit him around 20 yrds right behind the shoulder. I got down from my treestand and went to find my arrow, all three blads deployed and a massive blood trail to follow. I went back to camp to get on the radio to get some friends to help. I gave the deer about an hour to die. We went back to the blood trail and started to track down my deer, the blood trail was so bad thats is like taking milk jug and filling it with blood and walking through the brush. We followed him about 100 yrds, which suprised me being the fact that it was a lung shot, but the blood trail made it very easy to track. When I found the deer he had to big wound channels on both sides of the deer, man I never been so excited, my biggest deer and I took it with a bow.

Now the elk was about the same just a few days later. Once again I decided to go back up to the stand but this time I was acommpanied by my buddy's daughter. She around 15 and has never killed anything, so I set up another stand in the same tree but about 6 feet below mine so that I could talk to her and tell her when to get ready for the shot and how far the shot was. So thursday morning of the fist week we went into the stand around 6:00 a.m. once it started to get light we could hear elk buggles and cow calls in the background. around 7:30 a.m. a dow came into the water whole and was followed by two spike elk, which we both had tags for, the first elk went over a sarted to play and splash in the water, that was cool to see, and the other elk went over to push the dow out of the area but she didnt go far she just stood in the background waiting her turn for the water. than one of the spike elk walk over for a shot, I told my friends daughter to get ready and draw her bow, I told her its about a 25 yrd shot and she looked ready and calm, I looked up and saw that her top cam was hitting a limb from the tree and the same time she shot! SMACK nothing but the sound of the arrow hitting the ground. Man she was so nevouse and disapointed. She looked at me shaking not knowing what to do now. The elk didnt run far, and she told me if they come back to shoot one, so thats exactly what they did, that spike gave me the same shot but this time once again nothing but the red carpet treatment! I hope you all enjoy the pics...
