Hey I just wanted to post a picture of my wifes first buck she whacked with her bow. We prepared all summer long shooting several times a week to feel comfortable making a lethal shot on her first buck. We hunted hard the first couple weeks and as bowhunting goes had some close calls on some good bucks, but just couldn't quite close the deal. We stayed persistent and last night this buck offered her a 40 yard quartering away shot that she drilled. The buck took about an 80 yard death run and piled up in some brush. After a short tracking job, the high fives and hugs began....She was excited to say the least. I couldn't be more proud of her for sticking to it and putting some backstraps on the table for us....Love ya babe and way to go!!!!
