Bookcliff's Muzzy Question

Just got back from scouting for my upcoming Muzzleloader deer hunt. We saw some decent deer just not any I would consider a shooter.I took my Dad and his buddy with me so we didn't get far from any main roads. A couple of questions for any of you that are familier with the area and are willing to share. Do you think the deer will start to move off the top before the muzzleloader hunt? Would I be better off to hunt Seep ridge road to the roadless area or from Seep ridge road towards Colorado? The migration of off the top does not usually begin until around the middle of October.
