2010 Colorado Buck

Received this picture the other day along with this note from David Long on his success this year on a nice Buck he finally got and was video for later release on Eastman's TV.

Brian,

Yes, we got it all on film for the television show. It should make for a
hell of a show considering we have two years of footage on this buck. I
got within bow range of him twice last year, but never got a shot. This
year, I managed to mail him at 40 yards on the first stalk of opening day.
He is 30" wide and extremely tall!

We moved to Colorado the first of December last year. I absolutely love
it! No regrets. The mule deer hunting isn't too bad down here
either....hehe

Thanks guys. All of the nice comments are appreciated! Sometimes things just seem like they are meant to be. Last year I spent 12 days pursuing this buck and only laid eyes on him five of those 12 days. Got within bow range twice, but never got a shot. This year, we nailed him on the first stalk of opening day. Go figure!

Yeah, Mills is a ham for the camera!!!hehe That was my first hunt with him and I can tell you this - he is a lot of fun to hunt with. We had a great time!

"Who painted the background?" You know you have succeeded in taking a great photo when you are accused of painting the background! I will take that as the ultimate compliment and leave it at that!
