Sorry the pics are not the greatest but I wanted to see what u guys think this buck would score?

Tough to say...he has awesome looks (i.e. head on and from behind he looks like he's tippin' 200") and then he has some looks that would make you think twice (i.e. from the side he looks like he's about 190"), so if I were to guess, I would say mid 190s. Gorgeous buck though! Thanks for sharing the pics! How do I get a tag?
 
I am going to say around 210". His tines have a lot of curve to them and are a lot longer than they look at first glance. Great buck. Kill him!! Unless it'd be illegal....

To me score is one of the last factors in the decision making process. That is one cool cool cool buck and I would be very pleased with him. Unless you think you have a chance on getting a new state or potential world record, I think you should take him if you get the chance.

But just for giggles - I would say he will only net around 190-195.

Dang it would be hard to pass a buck like that anywere. Deep Forks sure can rack up the score faster than any characteristic in a buck, and that sucker has some studley forks. I remember you posting your last year buck and I think that this one is bigger than that, you better smoke him man before someone else does. Post pics once you got him down.
 
I know I'm new to the boards and my opinion doesn't mean crap but it seams like all people care about is what the buck or bull scores....I could be wrong but for me if the animal is big enough to get the adrenaline flowing, he's big enough to pull the trigger on. There are lots of bucks and bulls that don't score "high enough" that I think are more impressive looking than those that do score well. So if you don't think he's big enough and won't be totally stoked if you shoot him, leave him for someone else like me that considers that a once-in-a-lifetime typical. Just my .2
 
If u hunt as much as I do u can pass up deer like this. I have already killed bucks in the 30 in range or bigger an masssive bucks and a few that score good. This year I want a ty that will net over 200 that all I ask. Just my 2 cents, but i get your point dreamin of elk.

Duke He will be close to what your are looking for. He might Net a little lower then 200. Keep looking the season is still young. Hope you find another monster.

I would bet anything he will not net over 200. The extra point will come off the score for typical and drop him below 200 for sure. If you want a 200 net buck pass him up. Great buck no matter the score. Good luck on your quest.
 
Utehunter, you've seen the deer in person, what do you think he'll score? It sounds like you've taken some great bucks in the past, so I'm sure you have a pretty good idea of what he will score.

Just my two cents though, he won't net over 200".
 
The first pictures dont do him as much justice. The later make him look big! ide shoot then measure. Gross over 200, but dont know if net will stay at or above that figure.

Yes im native. And no we cant hunt anytime we want. But if u guys would get out and look maybe you guys will find deer like this. THIS IS A PUBLIC LAND DEER!!!! No rez buck!!! And Im hunting with a bow an passed this buck up 4 times under 40 yards.

what!...I haven't seen a buck that big since the 80's....chit you must have taken some whoppers...post a pik dude?
 
You expect me to believe that. If you passed this Buck like you say you did then, you are dumber than I thought. Let's see some pic's of these 30 inchers you speak of. That is a Buck of a lifetime no matter where you are at. HAWK

ahahahahahahaha we see this buck all the time..... He's got about a 196" frame with 6-8" of extra. After deduct wont net book and thats why utehunter has passed him.

i would like to kill something bigger too but no way i could pass on a 205 gross 200 net buck like that. those forks are freaken sweet
