How about the Mule Deer Rut for Utah this year?
When would you say the peak of the rut begins here?
In the Northern Utah area.

you will start noticing it a little bit in the last week in Oct. but its slow for that week and the first week in Nov. after that its full on for pretty much the rest of Nov. GREATEST TIME OF THE YEAR!!! except for all the people trying to beat you to the bucks is the only down side.

it will also depend on weather. if it stays warm tgeyll rut later and sooner if its cold and snowing...

The rut is controlled by the amount of light in the day, so it is very consistent year to year.
One year you may see a very hot buck chasing does Nov 7th, the next year you see the same scene Nov 20th...so people say "the rut is later this year" it is not later, you just say a group of does that went into estrus later in november than the herd you saw last year.

In Utah you can count on the first estrus cycle from about Nov 1 Nov 30th. Then the does that did not get pregnant will go back in one more time the first part of December.

So Nov 1 - Dec 10th or so.

Back in the good ole days, when most of you guys were still being potty trained (sorry... that means I'm over the hill), I loved hunting the Henry's right to the end of the season in Oct.
The bucks were getting a little rutty and following the does.

I've taken the best 3 bucks right at the end of the season and the rut was definately a factor.

Oh......the good old days!
Anything before the last few days were just business as usual.
