Unit 10 NM deer Oct 30- Nov4th

Headed down next week. Anyone have information that they would like to share. Reports have been good and bad, we have a few starting spots, If you have just hunted it for archery and ML would love to hear from ya. Thanks.

Headed out on Thursday moring, Got some good news on some big buck sighting so now we have a game plan and a starting place..

LAST EDITED ON Oct-27-10 AT 09:37PM (MST)[p]OK now i can help you out if you wont. Took my nephew out. The last day to day and got a nice 5x5 .Not all that big but only had one day.
I am on that same hunt if you need some solid advice just pm me.
I can leave my house and be hunting in in 15 min's . I stay in this unit about 3/4 time's a week for the last 2 mouth's. are you going buy your self??? Let me no . If you no where to go
you can pull some big buck's out of this unit .

Saw more elk then deer did see two good bucks in the headlights one night coming down off the mountain. Saw about 40 does 9 little bucks and the 2 good ones 24" and a 30".
Great looking unit should be a great deer unit if they can get the poaching under control, Saw a couple of great bulls saw several different herds of elk, saw elk everyday and had people telling us that they had elk tags the week before and never saw a elk.
Couple of the places that we was told to try was No good I mean there wasn't any deer and no deer in his right mind would be in that place, LOL Had other spots that was everything they said they would be.
The unit is a hard one to hunt and learning it will take sometime.BUT it COULD be a great deer unit one day if they could stop the out-of-control hunting it gets.
