12 Year olds first buck!!!

My son shot this buck first thing Saterday morning. Wounded him and we spent the rest of the day looking for him. We jumped him once and lost him agian. We did not feel good about leaving until we found him. We finaly found him just before dark Saterday night and he made a clean shot. He is 26 wide 23 tall, heavy and dark horned.

Thanks!! for the support I will make sure he reads. It was a long day and he was getting discouraged but he would not leave. It all payed off. He had also passed several small bucks in the muzzy, messed up on a similar buck in the muzzy and passed several smaller buck in the rifle until this buck on the last day we were going to hunt.

We are off to Colorado Unit 53, hunt open Saturday. Hopefully it is my turn!!! He will be with me the whole hunt as he has been on most hunts since he was 4-5 years old.
