Idaho and Colorado bucks

Well I finally have a chance to post on here. Iwas lucky enough to get to hunt both Idaho and Colorado this year and fortunate enough to take animals on both hunts. They were both tough public land DIY hunts, but saw alot of deer and had a great time. Heres pics of both.

I am a local to idaho and love the deer hunt. just wondering which was better as far as quality of deer and also numbers. and if you don't mind my asking which idaho unit you hunted, i know the 39 hunt is very competitive and you are hunting with a lot of other people on the mountain. wondering if you had that problem in idaho?

Good guess yes the second one is a 21 buck and boomstick the Idaho buck came next to 39 in 43. Yes the Idaho hunt is very competitive and much more physical. As Far as which hunt is better, the Colorado hunt by far, but it is a draw. I wish I could hunt it every year as I know I could do better if I knew it like I know Idaho. Alot more deer and better quality, but you would expect it to be over a general unit like Idaho 43.
