My 3 daughters each have a jr tag in this area (I know, almost unheard of)
I have hunted this several times in the last few years and have been sucessful in finding the deer.
This year however my scouting trips to the usual places have turned up with not seeing any deer. I have scouted the north western side of the spring mountains in the wheeler pass area and the north eastern side of the spring mountains in the cold creek area. I have had minimal success on the north eastern side
I feel the deer in the area that I am accustomed to seeing have left due to a water source usually avaiable has dried up. I have located new water sources near my old hunting grounds but have found very minimal evidence of new sign.
