Due to the unfortunate passing of my grandpa we missed our deer hunt this year. After thinking about it for awhile my friend and I thought maybe we could throw together a late season hunt.I have never been able to connect with a muledeer so that is what we would like to hunt. Being from michigan we are a long ways from muley country so we were thinking of trying a muzzleloader hunt in nebraska since the tags are still available. Does any one have advice as to where would be a good lateseason spot to suggest? or is there another state that has a late season hunt we could still get in on. Any info or help would be greatly appreciated. After a month of an emotional roller coaster ride I think getting out west and breathing in some fresh air is just what I need. Thanks for your help.

If that's the only place you have found a tag then get after it! Nebraska has some good hunting, but only on private land. The public gets pounded! If you can find a landowner or pay a trespass fee it should be a fun hunt! Dress warm!

THere is a outfitter that advertises on this site under the tags for sale section at the top. I think he is from nebraska and they shoot some good bucks supposedly. Never researched him or heard anyone talk about him though. I think his hunts are for $2500 every thing but the state tag?????

You can always try a late season AZ archery its a long drive for you boys though. Also Idaho offers some late season archery hunts.
