I was wAndering about the difference between stalk and stock while wOndering in the woods...

And some people can't figure out why hunters are portrayed as ignorant hillbillies. Yeah, I'm a spelling and grammar Nazi, but at least people can take me seriously.

NickJ1980 I was half-joking when I posted this, but you're right: it does make us look dumb when we don't know how to spell one of the hunting words we use the most. "I stocked a big one!" Hilarious.

I HEARD there was a HERD in the area. I tried to STALK them through the corn STALKS, but tripped and broke my rifle STOCK. You KNOW that YOU'RE having a bad day NOW that YOUR gun is broken.
