Here is my buck I took this morning on the front.
I stalked 5 bucks and got busted on every attempt. i hiked my butt off again and i started down the mountain to my truck all disapointed and bumbed, until i saw this buck and a 2 point heading my direction. I back tracked a few knolls over, gained the same elevation as these two bucks and headed towrds them. i crested the last knoll before i thought i should have seen them. Just then i watched the spike feed up a really steep draw at about 200 yards. i thought that i had been busted until i looked to my left and there this guy was bedded. i didn't have time to range him, but i guessed him at 50 yards and let him have one. i heard my arrow hit the trees right behind him and he bolted ot of there. he then stopped at about 110 yards. i bulled up my binos and i could see blood pumping out of him. my arrow had actually entered his chest cutting his jugular, hitting his lung and breaking the bone in his front leg. this buck went 80 yards and started wobbling, then 10 yards later he layed down and died. It was all so fast. What a great last day, last minute buck.
i have hunted over 30 days this year. My family and friends are tired of the same old excuse... I can't, i"m going hunting...
I hope you enjoy the pictures.
