Awesome pictures I really enjoyed them. Unique muley buck and those sunset pics are amazing!

Nice pics. That bull is UNREAL! Cool character buck too. Do you set up above those pines or sneak through that stuff? It seems like all of your bucks are taken in those thick stands. Tough shots!

Wow! That is some awesome country.

Cool buck. and that is an awesome bull!!!

Great Pics!
I always look forward to your pics!
Founder needs to get your kids a couple of MM hats! lol!

I hunt through timber like that and even thicker. I call it sneakin and peakin'. I actually burped that buck to under 20 yards in that stuff. He kept coming straight towards me and I had no shooting lane through the trees until he was that close.

That bull is a good friend of mine. I've been taking his pics for the last 4 years. He seems to recognize me everytime I see him and poses for the camera. My son was able to find one shed off of him last year. He's a damn big bull for BC. No season in the unit he lives so I get to take his pics and hunt for his sheds.

Awesome pics BC thanks for sharing.

Yelum,
Deep Fried Grouse Nuggets is one of my favorite fall meals. Was an amazing chicken year. The kids whacked and stacked the birds.

That was really cool how the bulls whale tail turns up.

Hey BC, earlier in the year you were having trouble finding the deer....did that change? I know you had started to speculate that the wolves may have had an impact on the deer habits. Just curious....

Yes the early season sucked when it came to deer hunting. And yes things changed as soon as Nov came in. We finally got some snow and cold that forced the migration and of course then the rut. I firmly believe the wolves were one of the reasons for the lack of deer movement during the summer and early fall. The wet and lush veg was another factor. With the heavy timber understory being lush with green this year, there was no need for them to put themselves in harms way to feed in openings and cuts during daylight.

The wolves are thick. Been seeing their tracks pretty much everywhere I go. Kicked 3 dogs off this kill just last week. Was surprised they were still feeding on him. They then proceeded to hunt the same ground I was hunting and I criss-crossed their tracks all day. Needless to say I didn't find a whitey that day. Did see an absolute GIANT 3x3 muley less than 5 minutes before I found this kill. Surprisingly he wasn't too concerned as he cruised looking for does.
