Little bro is having a heck of season. After taking a 300 inch bull in the 4th rifle season he was able to take a nice buck this morning in eastern Colorado. Buck scores 180 1/8 gross and 173 net.

Im suprised at the score myself too. I've yet to see the buck but my dad emailed me the score sheet and those were the totals and my father has scored a deer or two in his day..

Coloradoboy, That is a really nice buck and it sure may score that as stated. Pic's sometimes just don't do an animal justice and this may well be one of those cases. I would have thought that deer to have a tuff time getting to 170 but it really doesn't matter what it scores if your bro is happy with him.

I agree im not really seeing 180 gross in him at all. But like i said ive yet to see the buck in person and my dad scored the buck today and those were the numbers in the email.

+1 Sneak attack. The young man isn't sitting waaaaaay back either to make it look bigger in the pictures. You can tell he's damn proud of it, and rightly so. Congrats to your brother on a great season. A 300+ bull in Colorado is like taking a 400" in Utah.

Alright guys i regret throwing out the score because i don't think anyone every really agrees it. But i do agree i do not see 180 inches.. guess ill score him myself when he gets home. None the less the kids had a hell of a season. I don't think many of us can claim our first bull was a 300 inch 6 point and our first buck was of this caliber. I sure can't.

Sneakattack smashes 150 all day my azz! It is a good buck just sayin don't throw scores around in the first place! We downsize them for our hunters so when they get them scored they are super happy!
