SD deer herd?

Just wondering if anyone has any idea how the mule deer herd in is South Dakota. We hunted there a couple of years ago and numbers were good, but I think later that winter they had some serious die off. Anybody?

Venison and Zinfandel are GOOD!

On my ranch in the very northwest corner of the state the numbers are very strong. Both Mule and Whitetail

I hunt south of Murdo near the white river and always see a good a good number of deer on a ranch I hunt on.

I have hunted east river for whitetail the last few years. Not a lot of muleys east of the missouri. From what I have seen while traveling more muleys live in the western side.

Lots of good WT Bucks in East River this year.
Good numbers of Muleys in West River this year they all had good horn growth.

Very good numbers of both Whitey's and Muley's between Murdo and the town of white river the last few years.
