Colorado achery mule deer, What unit

I am looking for some info on what unit to apply for in Colorado. I am not looking for trophy deer, just decent numbers, also i want to hunt the high country, above timberline, this will be my first mountain mule deer hunt . Any info will be appreciated

Pick up and elk tag while you are at it.
There is a bunch of units you can hunt throughout the center of the state from the NM border to the WY border. MOst of these you can get with little or no points, heck you can get a tag the day before the season if there is leftovers.
I have hunted a little in the Rawahs (unit 6/7). Beautiful country and some deer (not tons).
