Here is my 2010 So UT buck shot him on sunday my last day to hunt. Needed meat pretty bad this year but i'm happy with him. I truely had to earn this buck it wasn't a easy year. Did the euro mount myself this is my third attempt at doing it and my best so far.

I taped him out at just under 147 7/8. The pic doesn't do him justice. For those of you who don't agree on my score well just beleive me he is that big;)

What do you expect when every 1/4" tape measure is manufactured by Hop Sing (440s words not mine) in China! Dont kid yourself that buck is easily pushing 200. The only thing missing is the kid in the background tokeing on the bong!

If you look close there's a bong! Jk dude nice buck!

Maybe if you extend your arms waaaaay out there, you know like all the big buck killers do. It would no doubt push the 180" mark!

Guys, I was there when he harvested his trophy Buck off of the pauns this year. He's actually being conservative on the score. That bad boy is pushing the 200 mark! ;) Congrats on a once in a lifetime Buck.

Come on guys...be nice. I'm sure he means 147 7/8 gross weight on the hoof. Great job on the euro!

I think you forgot to add in the length of the main beams. That could give you another 10 inches;-)

LAST EDITED ON Dec-30-10 AT 03:42PM (MST)[p]Dont listen to these guys thats a great buck. Way to put the meat in the freezer good job!!

O ya I forgot to mention how good your euro looks. You did a great job on it. And thanks again for the bottled meat, it was yummy!

Not bad at all-------to bad you didn't get the TiT it was still sucking off-------that would have looked way cool.

Your 'Step Uncle' and your 'Adopted Uncle' say---- hey

Here is the story of how it all went down. It started spring of 2010 when I came across this once in a life time bucks sheds laying side by side. To say I was excited is a understatement. After that cold April morning I was fixed on hunting that buck and that buck only. Come mid May I selectivly placed my trail cams in hopes of catching this elusive buck. By early July I was ready to give up and find a different buck when holy sh!t I found him finally. So after knowing his were abouts I went in on a weekly basis and placed apples and salt lick in a perfect ambush spot, for this year I wouldnt be using my rifle on this any weapon hunt. Finally Utahs bow hunt started up and I was nervous. After all this hard work of finding him I would be pissed if some stick flipper killed him. But thanks to his old age and wisdom he put the slip on all them arrow flingers. But I wasn't in the clear yet still had the smoke pole hunt to wait out, I was certain he wasn't gonna make it threw the muzzy season. After the muzzy hunt I checked my cams and he wasnt on any pics. When heartache set in I knew some lucky sob took him. After staying in bed for three days straight due to depression I decided to go for a hike. About a hour into my long rough hunt there he was standing on the side of the paved road. I was beyond happy. Only a few days till my hunt started and he was still alive. I was like a kid waiting for santa the night before the opener. I knew it was gonna be a good day cause I set out two boxes of apples instead of one. So I sit calmy in front of my big screen watching TLC my fav channel ever, I slowly put a nice sharp edge on my spear. Yes I said spear after going over my hunting list over and over I new it was time for bed. My alarm went off right on time noon o clock. I was a little tired from tosssing and turning but hey who doesnt get sleep with all the excitment of hunting? After my mommy made me a Pb and J with out crust I was so excited I woofed it down. Now it was time to go after my buck of a lifetime. Arriving to my ambush spot around one thirty I knew he would show up at any given moment. After flipping threw the radio stations trying to find a decent song to listen to I came across celine Dions my heart will go on my fav! When I looked up and holy cow there he is. I was so excited I spilt my bong water all over my Kia rios new seat covers now I was pissed. This bucks day to die has came. I slowly stuck it in drive and stepped out letting the rio slowly pass by the buck distracting him what he didnt know was I was arched back ready to let my spear fly. When he caught my scent and started to run off. So I carefully calculated wind drift and distance and flung the spear. The spear slowly cut threw the air and traveled with true flight. I thought for sure there is no way my one hundred and ten yard shot on the run was gonna connect when bang!!!! The old wise buck forgot about the un maned kia rio and got his ass ran over. After many many feild pics and hand shakes my hunt of a life time was over. Thanks for joining me on this hunt of a lifetime you might have not been there in human form but you were there with me in my heart. We rough scored him at 157 7/8 but cause I dont like to brag I knocked of ten inches.
All post pics of his sheds which green scored right around 168 2/8. Sucks I harvested this buck on his down hill side but at least I have his sheds from his prime. Thank you all for the kind words and support.

Yours truly Aaron aka the big buck slayer.

I have a adopted uncle? Holy cow I knew I was adopted but I didnt know uncle robb was adopted too. The stuff you find out on these websites is beyond crazy.

Thank you for the best play by play hunting story I have ever read . Spears , Bongs and apples what more could I ask for . I also really appreciate you sharing your story with us , and not selling it for big money to one of the huntin mags .

I do think you owe me a new computer since you made me laugh so hard , I blew the water I was drinking all over the key board .

You forgot the part where you tell everyone what outfit you wore. Longshooter already told everyone, so its no secret anymore.I thought you would have included the outfit in your post.

Well damn it now I have to sell my story to eastmans to buy you a new computer. I wanted to keep it open to everyone now I owe you a computer, Would you be willing to take his last years sheds instead? Cabelas offered me a new computer for them so I think this could work out for the both of us. Son of a ##### never mind about the offer your sh!t out of luck, my dog just knocked over my bong and spilt its waterall over ruining my computer so looks like Im getting a new computer thanks cabela!!!

Did you "tape" him out with the one on your hips? They taste good no matter the size.

I'll let the new computer slide , I'm just happy that you will sale the sheds to Cabelas . Hoping they might do a lifesize mount , and I can drool all over the mount on my weekly Cabelas trip .

Your having bad luck with that bong , maybe some kind of spill proof bong would have been a good Christmas present for you .

Here is a pic of Aarons trophy buck last year, He got it with his kia rio too. He was going to pass on it, but it gave him the stare down. It pissed him off so he ran the b!tch over! Man that guy can slay some bucks with his car!

Aaron: Your "trophy buck" bests my "trophy buck". I got mine in 1995. He was called "Half-a-buck".Believe or not, in 1996, hunting in the same area, I could've had "bookend" bucks", as I saw a 2x0 buck missing his left side!! LOL

LAST EDITED ON Jan-03-11 AT 09:06AM (MST)[p]That story was as good as the ones Shockey used to have in the back of a hunting magazine, but I can't remember what he called himself. I'll bet you were wearing a thong when you slayed that monster, huh, LOL!!! (Insiders joke from another BB I'm on!)
