New Deer Virus

More reasons to always take precautions when handling and
processing blood and tissue products from our kills. Better
to be safe than sorry later on.

The harder you work the luckier you get!!

looks like a close-up of a run-of-the-mill small infection on a finger. I've had dozens of these over the years. You can get one of these in any dirty cut on a finger, IMHO, and they go away in a week or two. I'm not saying don't take precautions, but can we all do a reality check before you increase the wacko population that refuse to touch or eat venison because of this? There are those that refuse any venison because of CWD, for ex., even though there has NEVER been a documented case of CWD in humans.

They said its common in herders since they have a lot of contact with animals, I bet its not on their fingers.
