Is this a Forked-Horn or a Two-Point???

Oregonians call it a Forky. In Idaho they call them a two pointer. Not sure the rest of the world.

It does count if your being official, but its lame to count it when describing the deer. A 4 point with eyeguards shouldnt be called a 5 point.

Here in Utah that would be a TWO-POINT
Let me explain!
When you walk into deer camp and somebody has that deer hanging in a tree the hunter would say "I GOT ME A BIG TWO-POINT"
If it was a Forked-Horn which is a 8" tall 8" wide little thing
the hunter would say
"GOT ME A FORKED-HORN BUT HE'S A BIG BODY SUMITCH"

ITS ALL ABOUT MEAT-IN WITH THE TAXIDERMIST

There is no such thing as a two point ...there's forkys and big forkys ...at least where I am from:)

Two point Ya probably older Couple notches in his ears battle scars A little forky probably wouldn't have those yet?

forky or two point same thing to me. Eastern retards would call that buck a four point.

He's a fork. His antlers only fork once. He's a fork with an eyeguard. As said before, not 5x5 but 4x4 with eyeguards. If he was a whitetail, he'd be a 5 point.

+1 on the big bodied sumbitch!! That statement always gives reason to shoot a forky!

I got put in time out for a bad signature! Sorry Founder...

That is a 2 point and he needs to be shot to keep his bad genetics from spreading.

Forky's are just short little horns on a 1-2 yr old buck.

never_satisfied,

You nailed it right on the head. Nobody could have said it better. Hilarious!

I'm a Utah resident for the record, and I'd call it a two-point and then move on. It might as well be a doe for me, that's all the consideration I'd give it.

I prefer limiting my field judging to "shooter" or "non-shooter". Nice picture though!

Forked horn. There are small forked horns, nice forked horns, and big forked horns......no 2 pointers.

Eel

it's not a 40 incher but it's closer than the last 40 incher you posted....

I have heard of big forkies, and small forkies, but I am still trying to figure out what the hell a two point is. Definitely a forkie where I come from.

Hunt Hard. Shoot Straight. Kill Clean. Apologize to No One.

Pretty funny at all the "two point" comments, guess it's a local specific thing, where you're from!

My book, that there is a Big Forky, Forkie, or Forked horn! Never called a buck a two point in my life as i always wanted to sound like i knew what i's talking about!! :)
