Couple years? Might be some sarcasm in the above posts but that looks like a shooter buck to me. No doubt a couple years would probably make him even nicer but most places that i hunt, i'd shoot that buck in a heart beat and be thrilled to have him!

it does not look like the same buck to me. the dead buck looks like his front right fork is bigger, the live buck looks more crabby. both very cool bucks. i would not hesitate to shoot either one. that extra character is hard to beat.

the live buck isn't as big as he looks or as i always thought he was. i held his shed in my hand and he probably has a one forty main frame, but the potential, he is just sexy... ha daphne is what my sweet heart of a mother named him.
