Yeah, me too! I felt that i had pretty much nailed down this buck's score and was looking forward to the score/result only to see that i only had missed by a couple inches...on the heavy side.

When the rule is "on or under", an inch or two truly is as good as a mile. It's still fun though, even if i'm not doing that well!

never mind.... i went and looked at rules cant go over... dang it!! 2/8ths over! arg.
so on the overall guesses of all the contests will that count as 2/8 off? or do i get a no score on it?

theox, That was hitting it pretty darn close!!

The way i interpreted the rules for this weeks judging, anybody "over" gets a no score, thus my post, same as if they didn't play that week. Fortunately, as explained by Monark before, one doesn't have to play or have a score every single week to still qualify to win the entire contest.

Theox, on the overall contest that will count as 2/8 off. You were probably the closest score for the week. Just for this weeks contest it was closest too with out going over to win the prize. So don't worry about your overall, that guess will actually help you in the long run. I will take every ones' best 12 scores in the overall. So if you guess in all 15 since we started your best 12 will count. So basically you need 12 guesses to be in the running for the bow, if you have played all 15 then your best 12 will count. so you won but didn't win on this contest. Nice guess. Hope this helps.

Okay, I didn't know that was the way it was going to work. I was thinking if there was a tricky one that I would need to not vote in that contest so it didn't hurt my average. Dropping the worst 3 scores will really help out. I blew that last one by 9"!
