Utah 2nd Choice Shoe In??

Just curious.....in Utah if I were to put in for a Henry's Archery as 1st Choice and Book Cliffs Archery as Second Choice and assuming I wasn't one lucky SOB who draws one of the Henry's random tags; would my Second Choice (the Book Cliffs)pretty much be a Guaranteed with 9 points?

For reference, I am a Utah resident and will be applying as a group with 1 other (resident) who also has 9pts.

I was always of the impression that you could only draw your 2nd choice after everyone's first choices were taken into consideration. Meaning you could only draw the books if it was under subcribed, thus meaning your 2nd choice in Utah is pretty much irrelevant.

Yep first choice is your only bet on limited tags.Second choice are only for left over tags after everyones first choice.And there are never any limited tags left over.Well very rarely.

LE 2nd choice is as everyone has stated above. My 2nd choice is always Henries rifle, just in case there is a computer glitch and all the 1st choice apps are wiped- then I'll get the tag and it won't cost me my bonus points...

LOL- Your 2nd choice, Books archery is a moot choice- you won't get it- guaranteed.
