G-2 Measurement

Am I reading this right? According to the B&C website it says you measure all points on the outer edge starting at the point where it intersects the main beam, with the exception being G3 which is measured from where it meets G2.

So, In the following picture, would you measure G2 from point 1 where it intersects the beam, or point 2, where it meets the part of the main beam you measure.

Or am I totally off and is it measured at point 3

Point 1. If you look at the G-4 in the picture, imagine drawing a line across the top of the main beam as if the point was not there, that is where they mean "intersects the main beam." Hope thats not to confusing

wrap a strint around the main beam, then accross the outside of the G-2 and around the main beam on the other side then measure to the string that will give you the intersection point

Use a pencil to make the lines on the horn lightly where the strings are.. This should help you with your intersection .

Thanks for the help fellas the string method helps.
Good luck in the draws

Another idea is to put masking tape at the intersection and mark the center line of the point to be measured and the natural line of the top of the beam it intersects and this is your starting point.

Hope that made sense.
