Well I think I figured out how to post pics so here is my 2010 Colorado buck. Hope it works.
Just 10 minutes before dark my dad spotted a group of deer about 600 yards away and could tell one was a buck and could see flashes of horn. Since we were going back home the next day I decided since it had horns I would shoot it. When we got to 430 yards, I got down on the backpack and took a shot. The buck didn't really pay any attention and just went back to the does. I shot another one and the buck kinda jumped and bounded a couple times but then went back to the does. The next shot my dad seen hit just a little high and my dad seen the snow kick up behind it. The next shot the buck dropped, kicked a few times, and then didn't move for as long as we could see it before it got too dark. When we got over there with the packs the buck was gone. We followed its tracks for a little bit from where it had been on the ground. We decided to back out and come back in the morning. When we came back the buck was just 10 feet past where we looked the night before.
