Newbie question. I'm heading to CO to scout the 3rd week in July. Will the bucks be in the same areas by then that they are likely to be in come the opening of bow season.

This has been a really weird year for us in Utah. The bucks are usually in the summer range by July . But as of right now . There is snow above 9000 feet. There is no feed up high. In spots there would be grass knee high, as of now it still under snow.
So I guess it depends on what part of the state you are scouting . The further north the more snow.
