colorado units 35,36 third season

Have an opportunity to buy a landowner tag and trying to decide if it is worth my time/money.

Anyone have experience in these units/opinions?

Have a buddy that hunts that area every chance he gets. Not my kind of hunting as he is waiting for them to leave private property and come where he can hunt them. I cannot sit on a fence line for hours and days. He always sees nice bucks on the private and has shot a couple off of it but nothing monsterous.

I wouldn't pay more then $100 for that tag. A few years ago you use to be able to draw that tag as a 2nd choice. I'm pretty sure the quality hasn't gone up any, if anything it's gone down.

35/36 got whacked pretty bad with the '08 winter kill. It was a tough hunt with private land issues before that.
