Nice to know I can draw a deer tag in a unit with 100% draw odds!

I think ID has a rule that if you draw a deer tag you can't put in for the same species the next year. I'm assuming that is only the case if you go ahead and purchase the tag.

In this case I'm not planning to purchase the tag. I just put in for that unlimited draw hunt as a second choice to one of the good units.

I know if you draw a buck only tag, there is a one year waiting period, but I don't know about the unlimited

doesnt count for unlimited hunts. draw those every year.

FYI, that 73 hunt jumped from about 1200 tags the first year as Unlimited Any Buck in 09 to over 2000 tags this year and it's a small unit for that many hunters. I was there last year and they killed a lot of med age bucks so I think this year is going to be forkies only, if any survived the winter. Fish and Game appreciates your donation for those tag fees though!
