I am from Utah and just drew a Unit 1036 Area 57 (Black Pine) deer tag. Does anyone have information on where to start scouting or what we can expect?

They use to kill some pigs out there but lucky to see a 160 buck anymore. The late hunt would be better but the October hunt is not so good. Too many tags.

I had the tag two year ago and have spent a fair amount of time in the unit. This unit tends to have a fair amount of crab forked 3-points. Every now and then a good deer turns up. There is also a lot of 4-wheeler activity during hunting season. I would determine where they will not be when scouting.
