Attempt to "show off"

Over the years, I've seen some spectacular mounts you "gentlemen" have. I've often thought how great they look. Mine are not so well displayed and I have no field photos (which are the best) of these deer.

I've also claimed to have taken some good deer. One of the really good ones is in one of the other posts and two are in homes belonging to friends and family in other states.

I wanted to brag about the ones I CAN show you......so SOMEBODY say something kinda' envious (please).

For reference, the widest one is 31 1/2" wide. The one in my son's left hand does not have 15" bases but is 6 & 7/8" in circumference between the major forks.

Hope these help get someone excited about the upcoming season....this has certainly got me "pumped".

These are all separate from any of those in the other photos I posted.

Those bucks are alright.....got any big bucks? LOL!

I haven't shot anything close to those. You must have B-BOPPER as a guide cuz you certainly are not killing PISSCUTTERS! Great bucks. Congrats

You obnoxious, arrogant ass!

You have no right to even APPLY for another deer tag!

Those 4 racks are quality racks in ANY unit, anywhere....and I am jealous!

How's that?

".....but by God, I never said a word to a pig!"

great bucks, i would have had them all mounted,
i have spent 20 years hunting idaho and a 150 class 4pt in unit 23 is all i have taken,,,,never drew a deer tag in 20 years, i hunt the same ol place year after year whining out load i guess,

Show off indeed. Those are some great Bucks .

Glad you learned how to post pictures. Very nice !

Well I am just happy you learned how to download pics after 5 years of instruction..... ;) Nice..... draw any good tags this year?

I never draw, Shane. (This year is no different.)

I almost always hunt open tags...granted I usually ask for the tags with poor odds....but they always tell me, "no". I should probably have warned Trevor before he put him and me as a "group"....'cause my luck held and neither of us drew. That's why I got the llamas....they can carry me to some "deep and secluded" place.

gb22, If I had known you had photos like that to share, I would have driven to wherever you are and personally instructed you.:) Good grief man, those are nice!

A very impressive collection of racks GB22. You should be proud to show them off.
Thanks for sharing.

Awesome collection you have there, especially for general tags!

Including the deer in the first 5 field pictures (and the two not in my house) there are 11 "big" ones. Two of them came from LE units...(54, where I grew up). The rest were general tags....but if you hike far enough back, there is less competition back there than in LE units....which of course, you guys already know.

Man, respect those awesome deer with some better mounts!

Maybe we can take up a collection for your racks so they can be properly clothed.

The money that should go (have gone) to the deer is being paid to lawyers to lawyers.........as too many understand.

You said some are out of state. Tells where you got them. They couldn't all be Idaho bucks ? Idaho doesn't have any big bucks ? Right?
Very Nice for sure !! Did you shoot them all in the sixty's ? haha Looking at your son I can see thats not the case.Tells the real story !!

All of the bucks I think are big are Idaho bucks. The first "big one" was in 1976. The last 3 "big ones" have been since 2007. (I spent a LOT of years being so selective that I never pulled a trigger...lowered the standards a bit about 8 years ago and get to shoot more often.)

James was actually with me, watching through a spotting scope, on two of them. The deer in other states are because my brother has one in his home and a good friend in Nevada has one in his home (they're richer than I and had them mounted). I only had the one mounted (in my first post about being a member for 10 years and not knowing how to post pictures). The deer were taken in units 54, 39, 48, 70 & 76. I've asked LOTS of times but have never gotten a late-season tag and do not have access to private property. The two LE deer were in unit 54 (not really a "prime" unit....but my favorite, because it's where I grew up and I know what to look for.)

Great Bucks, good luck this year too. Keep the pics coming

I'll tell you who it was . . . it was that D@MN Sasquatch!

$%^%$#@#&%$!!!! Nice bucks!!! Refinance your house and get them mounted!!!

Government doesn't fix anything and has spent trillions proving it!!!
Let's face it...After Monday and Tuesday, even the calender says WTF!

Wow!!

22, you got any field photos to go along with the couch photos? It would be cool to see those monsters when you got them on the ground!
