Opening day archery buck..

Quick question for all you boys.. Yes or no would you go after this buck on day 1? I know the pic is not the best but you can kinda see the split eye guards that he has going on both sides.

A bit more info - he in in a Colorado unit that takes 0 points to draw archery.

Is he better than your best buck? I think that buck is a slammer. The fact that you question it probably means youve got hopes for a better deer. Never settle--let them live another year!

Yea that is what I think as well.. When he gets done I am betting that he will be 27 - 28" wide and a solid 170's type of a buck. It is the 3rd year we have seen this buck and he is getting bigger every year. This unit also gives out its share of rifle tags so who knows if he will be back another year.

A couple of friends that I scout with think I am crazy to spend a bunch of time/boot leather looking for another and that I need to put in the time on this one.. So we thought we would have some fun before the weekend and post it here to see what you boys think.

I will see if I can get some better pics of his antlers and post em up caus the split brow tines are pretty cool..
