Well, I can see a couple of eyeguard bumps starting to bud out. I would say kickers and the real eyeguards will form down the line.

Cool deer. I say eyeguards. The antlers of deer/elk develop from the bottom up and I don't think the bumps at the bottom will grow much later.JMO

On another note it is crazy how slicked off that deers coat looks for the antler development. He seems gray even, like a sept. buck but the antlers say june. COOL!

I'd have to say eye guard's. This is the buck I shot here in Nevada and you can see how high his eye guards are. IMO I really like the eye guards being high on the horn. Cool buck though, he should be really cool in a couple years.
