I know it's hard to score from a photo, but my guess is 188.

What do you think? Is he worth following?

I'm not good at scoring from a set of tracks, my forte is scoring them from their grunts. If you could upload a .wav file of his grunt, I could score him dead on.

see how the hoof rolls over on his right side (see track) he will be a nontypical on that side, so He should score a little higher then 188,IMO But that will be a gross score not net.

Eelgrass know we know you really wear women's high heel shoes.

I would take a guess at 9-1/2 women shoe size.

You fools will buy into anything!

There is no way to score a deer from a picture of it's track! You absolutely have to SMELL it also, or you won't get within 20 points.......geez!

LAST EDITED ON Aug-11-11 AT 11:34PM (MST)[p]I'd say 23 4/8 net. The inside spread probably won't even break 1 1/2", and the h1's and the h3's are obviously a little small. My only question is do you score the dewclaws as typical points, or extras?

judging by the depth of the indentation and the angle of the hoof, id say hes a wide buck rather than tall. and the width of the back portion tells you he has eye guards. looks like a good buck! my guess is 31" wide with a gross of 206 typical. follow those tracks to the moon!

Homosexual deer. Has manicured fronts on it hoofs and the dew claws. Drolly squats too when it pee's.

up anyway."

As nickman would say. The entertainment here is unlimited.

By the way, nobody has the right score yet. Keep guessing rookies.

LAST EDITED ON Aug-12-11 AT 08:34AM (MST)[p]That's a typical ranch deer scoring close to 300". The flat ground with pieces of hay give the track away. I've seen similar tracks at the zoo where my other tree stands are.

Nice call Bloodtracker! Very observant on the soil conditions and the hay. If you'll also notice, I believe thats a piece of caramel corn, maybe buttered, in the center right of the photo. It could be just a peanut too. I think if we had a wider angled photo, we might be able to proove this 300 inch ranch deer theory. There would be some tire tracks, and coke cans, and probably cigarette butts.

264 was almost right. There are some rabbit genetics in play here. It's an evil buck toothed jacka-lope. 264 couldn't tell from the original picture because of the new camoflauge line that jackalopes buy from cabelas. I've outlined the jackalope for you all.

PS if any of you would like, I have lots of jacka-lope pictures. I could post them up kind of like find the ATL pics and you guys could spend hours trying to find the jackalope.

What did the infamous Kirt Darner say, that if the track is equal to or better than the length of a 7mm bullet, that more than likely a buck made the track.

I'd have to say that buck will net 190" to 190 1/8" based on that track. If you kill that buck, legally, and it is a blacktail you will get rich on endorsements.
You can use the money to buy an upgraded $10 tent for POW Island. Maybe even splurge on some food other than blue berries.

Pine N Tines that looks like Donny Darko's nemesis rabbit! ROFLMAO!!

Shepherd,

Upon further investigation, I believe that small round-like object to the middle right is indeed a piece of kix cereal which is used throughout the west at ranches to produce above average antler growth. It is served with vitamin D milk and usually is spoon fed to the animals. I'm sticking to my guns on my score of 297 4/8". It's just too obvious.

Yup! I think I found who made that track, I knew it was Frank all along.

I'd say a two legged peter puller, but I don't see an impression of her right cheek and ear, so I could be completely off.

BuckSnort, not sure what made that track, but whatever it is, is already tagged and mounted. Not worth following.
