Yep, another tough one. Look close, there is more than one buck in this pic. Hint, look for antler tips and ears, may be easier to spot them.

Took this and many more pics chasing bucks in Wyoming last week on the archery opener. Unfortunately, more pressure than there should be for the deep backcountry. This string of bucks was part of a mass exedous. A couple bone heads decided to set up camp right in the heart of the basin. They couldnt have picked a worse spot if they'd tried. They didn't know it but the whole basin emptied of nearly every buck while they set up their tent as we watched from our secret perch. Didn't get one, but we got lots of time to keep trying!

Oh buddy, I know! Quite possibly the biggest buck I've seen alive. Granted, I've not seen alot of truly big deer, but he is a good one! Pic taken at 300 yards, done with a gun, but only a memory now with the bow.

Cool pics, Gotta love the high country..

Seems odd that some will go to the trouble of getting to a place and then stumble in and push the game out.

Not odd at all some just hike up to camp and get away for the weekend or week,They don't care if the kill a deer or not.
We use to call them weekend warriors.
