I have heard of guys posting lost items on websites and others hunters finding them and the original owner getting them returned. I was hunting in the ND Badlands south of Medora last week. I lost my 10x42 EL swarovski with bino system. if you hear of someone who found a set of swarovskis, can put me in contact with me by e mail or this site or stickbow/leatherwall. I can verify they are mine be serial number! Thanks everyone for your help and consideration!

I hunted really hard, bivy most nights! The 6th night, I got 3 hrs of sleep. I spotted a good mulie and bedded him. I started walking back to camp and got hot ,took off my binos with my outer layer, I laid them down and walked back to camp. I walked about 1/2 mile to spike camp. Before i noticed. I hadn't put my swaro's back on. I don't remember where I took them off! I looked for 8 hrs and could not find them. I retraced my steps as best I could. It was the last day of the hunt. I ran out of water and needed to hike out 3 plus miles. I had a 9 hour drive home.

Jeff,

You didn't happen to have a GPS turned on at the time, did you?

Your route is probably cached on it if so and would take you right back to them.

That is a tough pill to swallow especially since you think you know within a half mile of where they are. I would get a GPS and go back in there and make grids starting at the most likely spot. If I was in the area I'd help.

Good luck.
