The Pauns is doing good this year. I heard of one 240 inch buck taken off there. My dad saw the pictures.

They've got two 240" bucks off of Wade Heaton's CWMU. One was about a month ago and the other was just about 2 weeks ago.

Nice buck Hutch

Wades buck was not killed on the CWMU. He drew a pauns archery tag and killed the buck. My buddy is doing the taxidermy on it. It's a stud of a buck. Congrats to Wade!

Thanks cabinfever for clarifying my question. I thought the one killed on opening day was killed by Wade. I had no clue he was an archery guy.

Oh, I thought his was killed on the CWMU, my bad. I have seen the antler's in Travis' shop, it's a freaking toad. But I know two 240 bucks have been shot on the Pauns. Wade's that wasn't CWMU and then one that was.

To the OP, that's a killer buck. Was it killed up by Tropic Reservoir? I worked up there for a summer, that country in the picture looks really familar.

You might remember talking to me I was in a red dodge cummins I stopped and watched your buddy stalk that super heavy 180" 4x4 for awhile on it would of been the thursday morning,did he end up taking that buck?

No he did not get the heavy buck. he ended up with onr that was with that buck 170ish. Yes I was the one that killed that buck and i rember talking to you on the corner. How did you do on theelk hunt?

No good on the elk hunt didnt have any time to scout before the hunt so I spent that first week of the hunt scouting and never could catch the bulls at theright time, you should post the pictures of all three bucks that you guys took down on the pauns this year
