Another unfound buck

I took a friend archery hunting this year and he hit a good buck up between tonys grove and twin creek on the north cache unit. We looked for days and never found the buck. He is about a 26 inch 4 point. He was shot on opening weekend. Been up every weekend to look and nothing. if anyone runs into one up there i would love to find this buck> thanks

how far was your shot? blood?

He shot it at 45 yards broadside. he said he hit low.

forgot about the blood, found the first little bit of blood about 50 yards from where we found a blood covered arrow. Not much blood but enough that we tracked for about 1/4 mile, but the last little bits we found were smaller than a tick. We then searched first in the direction the buck seemed to be headed, sidehilling but never going up. Had 4-5 guys spread out and went a little different direction each weekend never to find anymore sign or smell anything dead. I do believe the buck to be dead but i have no clue how far he could have gone. thought we would have found him by now.
