Nice buck! But no kidding, where's the cape?

Great buck! I've got 3 typicals 200 & up but have coveted a (DOUBLE) drop tine for many many years. That is a once-in-a-lifetime.

Wow.. That buck has it all as far as I'm concerned...

Nice and wide, good mass and double droppers... Works for me.

I'd hope their taxidermist has another cape laying around somewhere.....maybe they're thinking of putting that rack on a blacktail mount!

not everyone wants/needs to mount every animal they shoot...it's a great buck and the smile on her face is worth way more than any shoulder mount

In NO WAY am I trying to cause a riot here, but did anyone else notice that this pic looks VERY photo shopped. I understand that this is a very low quality pic or even a cheap camera phone snap shot, but some portions of the pic are clear, yet around the head, it pixels are much blurrier, as well as pixelated. I was just wondering if anyone else had the thought or had seen other pictures of this deer???

I hope its legit and I hope we can see some more pics, cause its a beauty of a buck!!!

The photo is legit. It was shot by the girl in the photo. It is her first deer and was shot this year early this month near a place called long creek which is in eastern Ogegon south of Pendleton. She is married to a 2nd cousin of mine whom I have never met. My father keeps in contact with the girls father-in-law who is my father's cousin. They send my father the same picture as well as many more. In order to protect the innocent I will not give any names or post more photos. However I will see if I can get a message back to them to have them post their own story and more photos.

I hunted this unit as a boy for many years with my dad, grandfathers & uncles. The unit holds great muleys...if you can find them! We have a name for a spot called "blood rock" because over 30 muleys have been taken while sitting on the same rock! (25+ yrs of family hunting 1970-1995)

Congrats to the woman and please post the story!
