Hope to meet you and your crew out there YD- Sounds like you have the same game plan as us. I'm sure I can keep my dad off the trigger for a while, he's says gonna be picky.

We'll see how the mild weather treats us. Weather Channel website shows nothin but 60s and sunny for the whole hunt... Should be a great time no matter what.

HEY TIKKA & FRIENDS/FELLAS.....GOT IN LAST NIGHT AFTER A GREAT HUNT. THE FIRST 4 DAYS IN THE BOOKS WERE SLOW UNTIL WE GOT THAT RAIN STORM. WE KILLED A BUCK ON DAY 6..27 INCH 4 PT.,DAY 7 MY 4X3, DAY 8 A 7X8 NON TYP....NOT REAL WIDE...ALL NICE BUCKS/NOT WALL HANGERS LIKE FOUNDERS THOUGH. I HUNTED A BIT ALL OVER ....ON TOP, NORTH SIDE, & SOUTH SIDE AS WELL. MY TRUCK TOOK A HIT FROM MY TRAILER & ANOTHER ROCK I DID NOT SEE....2 DAMAGED SPOTS. UNLOADING ALL MY GEAR NOW. WILL TRY (PIC CHALLENGED) TO GET PIC ON SOON AS TIME ALLOWS. WOULD LIKE TO THANK TIKKA & BROWNINGRAGE (JASON) FOR THEIR HELP ON THIS HUNT. I ALSO MET A BUNCH OF UTAH HUNTERS IN THE FIELD, ALL REALLY GOOD GUYS/ENJOYED JAWING WITH ALL OF THEM/ HELPFUL ALSO !!!

ON DAY 7 I DID SEE A MONSTER.....IN MY CHASE I RAN ACROSS MY BUCK. THAT AFTERNOON I PUT A DAD & SON TEAM ON THAT BUCKS LOCATION....THEY REALLY APPRECIATED IT. THE WEATHER WAS JUST NOT WHAT WE WANTED....BUT THATS HUNTIN/THEN IT RAINED !!! THIS WAS REALLY A FUN HUNT, WITH THE BEST CAMP I HAVE EVER BEEN IN (SHADE,STREAM,ACCESS). I WOULD LOVE TO GO BACK, PICS WILL TAKE A BIT OF TIME.......TAKE ER EASY....... (500 DOLLAR DEDUCTABLE .....OUCH).........YD.

KRIS.......YES WE DID.....VERY HARD. WE KNEW THAT IS A HEAVY MIGRATION OUT OF THE ROADLESS AREA. IT WAS VERY STRANGE....WE HUNTED IT 3 OR 4 TIMES.....GLASSED & GLASSED......NOT A DOE, BUCK, ELK, RABBIT, OR MANY BIRDS....JUST DEAD. IT IS BEAUTIFUL DEER COUNTRY WITH LOTS OF WATER....JUST KNEW I WAS GOING TO SEE A BIG OLE BUCK IN THERE......NEVER HAPPENED.... (LOTS OF OTHER GUYS WALKED IN THERE ALSO......NOTHING !!.......YD.

I was wonderin how many guys might venture into the Roadless area. I have only heard from 2 others besides your report- but they both said they saw NOTHING... I don't know much about the Roadless migration, maybe that is par for the course..??

You guys did great dave- congratulations on some fine deer and what looks like a great time... I ran in to 2 other groups from California that weren't you apparently... Wish I could have happened onto you guys.

I can't remember the last time a deer hunt was so much fun. Passing decent bucks is seriously a thrill. I'm glad the 3 of you connected on some good deer. I'll have to find out where you got 'em all so I improve my chances next year if I draw...
