Hey guys and gals! I am new to the forum, but would like to share my Colorado archery muley with you. He was taken on the last day of the season at 62 yards. Put the last four days of the season into getting him. I was drawn back on two bucks larger than him this season, but couldn't get a shot. It was a great year for big bucks in Colorado.

Congrats Great buck! How wide and what do you think he will score? I will be heading to CO for the first time in 2 weeks for the 3rd season. Hope it is as good to me as it was to you.

Welcome.

Thanks. He is only about 28 wide. But he has it where it counts. He has real deep forks, with good mainbeam lengh and decent mass. I have not got to score him yet. He went straight to the taxi after I killed him. I put him next to a 176" buck I shot and there was no comparison. I would guess around 187"-191". Good luck on your Colorado hunt.

That is what a Ramcat broadhead does when you hit him dead in the heart. Those are blood clots all over him. Wasn't a very hard blood trail to follow! :D

Smoker buck with a bow man! That area sure has some good ones....always has. I miss living in the valley and getting to run that country all the time. You did really good. I don't miss the really lean times of the 90's there. Awesome shot placement too...........well done!
