I shot this buck tonight at about 150 yds after debating on shooting him at about 20 yds for 3-4 minutes. My dad was walking over to my wife and I and spooked him, he stopped and looked back and I had to shoot. I'm very glad I did. The accubond did a awesome job putting him down. The bullet cut the heart off and pulled both lungs apart and off the windpipe.

LAST EDITED ON Oct-23-11 AT 09:55PM (MST)[p]While we were dragging him out my brother (kawboy) got some momentum going down the hill, trying to keep it he was jogging, then running, then running hard trying to get out of the way! Lol I fell over laughing at him. I'm glad my wife, my dad, ricks father in law were all there. Made for some awesome company!

That last picture is funny, that doe and fawn were standing there when we pulled back up to my truck and watched us take the deer out of one truck and put it in mine. And were less than 20 yards away from my truck still when I backed out!

Nice...

Government doesn't fix anything and has spent trillions proving it!!!
Let's face it...After Monday and Tuesday, even the calender says WTF!

That second pic is classic. Looks like you had a fun weekend. I am going to head out sometime during the week and see if I can avoid some of yhe crowds.

This has been a pretty crazy but good year! The deer are really spread out but we have seen quite a few! Less hunters this year than I can ever remember..
