How did the opening weekend hunt go on the Northern end of skyline drive go? I took my 12 year old boy out for his first hunt in to some of my old stomping grounds on the south end of skyline drive. In the day and a half we had to hunt we saw between 70-100 head of deer without seeing single buck. I will be headed back out again this weekend with my boy but need to stay a little closer to home because of other commitments. I was thinking of hitting the North Skyline but had heard from a couple CO that the numbers were down on the North Skyline.
