how to shoot a rifle with one arm

I broke my left arm last week and am hoping to still go deer hunting. Our season opens the second weekend in November. Is it possible to use bipods or shooting sticks with one arm and not get scoped in the face. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have two rifles, one is a 7mm tika and the other a .270 savage. I would probably sit in an area and let the deer come to me.

Thank you,

I can and do shoot my ruger mark 2 300 win mag with one hand on shooting sticks. Hold on to it you should be fine! Sucks you broke your arm. Good luck! Shoot a big un!

You could look into getting the bipods that attatch to your rifle. I have them on my 7mm and you can move around, set up, and shoot all with one arm pretty easily.

Definately get a bipod that attaches to your gun, you can easily shoot with 1 arm and if you hold the gun tight to your shoulder you should be fine. If your still not comfortable you could take your rifle to a local gunsmith and get a muzzle break put on it.

The weight of the Bipod will keep you from getting scoped, You shouldn't have a problem with it in a prone or sitting position.
