Got this pic in an email recentley & wondered if anyone knew the details.

All it said was Eagle County Colorado 2010.

Wow!

Yes, I remember this buck. It's a legit Colorado deer and even seems like Eagle county was where; but it stirred up some controversy on here last year and if I remember right, the post got zapped or at least the picture removed. Something about not having permission to post... at least that's what I remember. What an incredible deer, though. Private land if I recall.

Could you imagine seeing that thing on the hoof as you tried to get the crosshairs steady? How could you not look at the antlers?

LAST EDITED ON Nov-10-11 AT 08:30PM (MST)[p]has to be related to dinkshooter..he's got a camo box of bush!

Wow, what a buck.If memory serves it was off of the swede's place (PVR)

LAST EDITED ON Nov-10-11 AT 08:45PM (MST)[p]Great buck but what is up with the cord around the horns.

Probably to keep the horns from hitting the side of the truck when he was driving. I know I wouldn't want to be dinging up a set of horns like that. What an absolute pig of a deer.

LAST EDITED ON Nov-10-11 AT 09:07PM (MST)[p]What a slug! This buck was on the cover of the Huntin Fool June 2011. Reddog what's (PVR)?

One more thing.
Somebody last year claimed the Skull was broken.
If you look close it looks possible?
I surely don't know though?

Hot Dog,Hot Damn,I love this Ameri-can

I've seen that pic before either thru PM's or here but no matter, can't get enough of bucks like that!! Thanks for posting!!

Yep, I realize it now.
The hunter was wearing a cowboy hat in the grip & grin pose.
The truck pic kind of threw me.

Thanks guys.

Hey guys...I thought I would clear this post up a little bit. I got the buck on public land in Colorado last year. The guy holding the buck is some guy that I don't know that took pictures at the gas station when I got back home. The skull plate is not broken and he was officially scored with a gross score of 236 7/8 and has an outside spread of 39 5/8". Thanks

LAST EDITED ON Nov-14-11 AT 09:19PM (MST)[p]With a buck like that I would have traded the Busch Light for something a little more expensive.

Cactusman, Congrats on the buck of a lifetime! How long are the main beams on that giant?
