LAST EDITED ON Nov-20-11 AT 10:29AM (MST)[p] Brad Kendrick scored on a giant 37 inch buck yesterday just before dark.The buck being 245 (if not broken) was WD martins #1 buck until he broke up the night before the hunt. After seeing him broke opening day WD decided to pass on him. The buck is a true giant and one of the biggest deer I have seen on the hoof. Congratulations to Brad and WD on their bucks both are amazing Mule deer.

Wow. What a beautiful buck. It would be difficult to be too upset with the busted G-4 when he's still that big. Both hunters killed awesome bucks! Congrats to them both. Thanks for posting the pics. I wonder if they will have the bucks displayed at the expo. Would love to see them in person.

That buck is awesome! I was expecting to see more antler broken off. Was there a cheater coming off that G-4.

I too am in awe of the main frame on this buck. I'm wondering what that main frame would have scored if not for that broken G-4? A bunch i'm thinking, +220.

Both of these bucks are truly monsters. From all the pic's posted of the islands bucks thru the years, these two are even bigger than i would have believed taken. These two bucks really look bigger than life. Not only congrats to the those involved in the taking of these monsters but to the camera guy who took those pic's...about as good as it gets!

I have no problems with mossback and I have no problem with guides. With that said, why would you choose to be guided on the island hunt? Was it part of getting the tag, or did both hunters hire moss?
Just an honest question, not trying to start a pissin match.
Congrats to both hunters!

I could be wrong but i dont believe the hunter that drew the tag had mossback guide him. And as far as the 265,000 dollar tag. Wouldnt you hire someone to find the biggest buck on the unit if you paid that much money for the tag? I would

Why does someone hire their lawn mowed when they can do it themselves. Because they can make more money or have better things to do with that time. The two hunters killed the 2 best bucks on the island. The state hunter didn't hire Doyle, Doyle offered to film his hunt for the rights to the video and pics. It was a win, win situation. I know its not for everone, but it worked for them.
