Not a "Monster Muley"

I just thought I would share my first buck killed on the extended wasatch unit. I usually avoid hunting up there, but decided to give it a go. He isnt the biggest deer I've killed, but after a multiple hour stalk I am stoked that I killed him. Some might say I shouldn't have shot him, but being an avid archer I know that it was an accomplishment just killing a deer.

It's a sad day when someone is afraid to post pictures because some d-bags might say saomething.

Great job!

I'm not afraid to admit it is bigger than the one buck I have killed with my bow on the extended, and I've been hunting exclusively archery for about 6 or 7 years now. It ain't easy thats for sure and for an archer sometimes we need that feeling of success to boost our confidence so we can get on that big buck when the chance comes. Let's just say my last buck was so big one of my employees did a european mount and tied little camo bows on his antlers. way to get it done!

Sometimes Its more about the experience than the Size of the animal. One of my most proud bucks on my wall is the smallest I have mounted .

Thanks everyone. It was a fun hunt. And anyone who has ever hunted the wasatch knows how hard it can be at times. So for me any kill with a bow is exciting and worth it.

COngrats! The D bags that want to talk trash about shooting deer that dont meet their standards should start their own site, most havnt actually killed any monster muleys though so it would be a pretty boring forum. Some of us know how great it feels to take an animal without worrying about how others will feel about it,Im sure you worked harder for that buck than many have for much larger racks.

Hey nice buck. Its a great feeling to connect with a bow. I'm still chewing my tag and I started in Oct.

any deer killed on a tag is a good deer, Killing one with a bow is a great deer.
