I love pics like that and I try to catch that reaction in my kids when they walk up to their kills.
I always tell them the one thing that always impresses me the most about the walk up is, you are 99.9 percent most likely the FIRST human to ever touch that wonderful animal. Others may have seen him and tried to kill him but YOU got him and are sitting there with YOUR hands on him. I don't know why but that is what does it for me and the older the animal the more impressive!
I don't know for sure if my kids get where I'm coming from with that or feel the same but I hope so or at least always have something like it to keep that fire burning.
